Badlands National Park, South Dakota

I recently went on a road trip through South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota. Our first destination (well, after the Corn Palace, of course), was Badlands National Park. I loved the colors and textures in the rock and clay, and the wildlife (we saw bison, prairie dogs, and bighorn sheep). We got there mid-afternoon and watched the colors change as the sun went down and we drove through the park. The next morning we awoke to find four or five bison roaming through our camping area. Here are a handful of photos from our time in the Badlands.
