Hello, and thank you for visiting! Please read these policies before making a purchase. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me and I’ll be happy to help.

Payment

Payments are processed through PayPal. This is a secure and trusted way to pay for things online. You can pay through PayPal even if you don’t have a PayPal account – when checking out, just follow the prompts to enter in your credit card information.

Your order will be shipped after payment has cleared. If you are purchasing a custom or made-to-order item, I will begin to work on the order after payment has cleared.

Because this shop is based in Minnesota, I am obligated to collect sales tax from other Minnesota residents. You will be charged sales tax upon checkout, if your shipping address is in MN.

Shipping

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout. If shipping costs seem high, contact me with a list of the items in your cart and your zip code (if within the US) or country. I will double check the cost to ship to your particular region.

Ready-to-ship items will be sent out in 1 to 3 business days after payment has cleared. If you are purchasing a custom or made-to-order item, shipping times are explained in the listing for the item. Most orders are shipped via USPS. Every US order includes delivery confirmation and every US order over $10 includes insurance. Tracking information will be emailed to you once the package has been shipped.

I reuse packaging materials whenever possible to cut down on waste, and I ask that you reuse and recycle my packaging materials if you can!

All orders lost or damaged in the mail will receive a complete refund (minus the shipping cost) or exchange, as long as the customer lets me know about the issue within a reasonable amount of time.

Paper invoices are not included unless requested by the customer, since your invoice is available through PayPal.

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly. I am not responsible for orders shipped to the wrong location if the customer entered the wrong address.

Returns and Exchanges

I take pride in my work and hope you are satisfied with your purchase.

There are no refunds on custom or personalized orders, with the exception of items lost or damaged in transit and items seriously misrepresented in product photos or descriptions.

There are also no refunds on packages that were returned to me due to not being claimed by the customer. If this happens, the customer will be responsible for paying the additional shipping costs to ship the package again.

Items damaged by the customer may not be refunded or returned.

If you are unsatisfied with a purchase other than custom or personalized items, please let me know within 10 days of receipt. Once I have received the item back in its original condition, you will get a complete refund. Shipping costs are not refunded and paying for return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

International Orders

Orders placed outside of the US will be declared at full value as merchandise. The buyer is responsible for paying any customs fees and taxes. International customers, please be aware of the possibility of paying customs fees before making a purchase.

Rush Orders

If you are ordering a made-to-order item, there is a 50% fee for rush orders. Shipping charges may increase as well. Please contact before purchasing if you need your order rushed.

Gifts

If you are purchasing a gift and would like your order shipped directly to your recipient, please include the following information in the “Order Notes” upon checkout:

  • name and address of your gift recipient
  • whether you would like gift-wrapping at no extra charge (I use materials I have on hand to wrap gift orders: tissue paper, kraft paper, yarn, string, ribbon, etc.)
  • whether you would like a handwritten gift note included at no extra charge, and if so, what the note should say

Signature Stamp

signature stampMy stamped “signature” is applied to each book and box I make. On books, it will be located on the inside back cover. On boxes and portfolio cases, it will usually be located on the back/bottom or interior of the case. Smaller items may have a small printed label instead of the stamp. For custom orders, I’d be happy to place my label elsewhere. Just let me know where you would prefer it to be.

Custom Work Features

By purchasing a custom or personalized item from my shop, you agree that your item may be featured on my website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter, or other online outlet. If you do not want your custom item featured, please let me know.
