It’s been a busy autumn over here! I’ve got a few things lined up through December that you may be interested in hearing about.
This coming Saturday I will be selling my handbound journals and sketchbooks at the Women’s Club of Newton Highlands Holiday Art Market. If you’re in the Boston/Cambridge area, it’s a great opportunity to support local artists and crafters and get some holiday shopping done! And guess what: I now accept credit cards! No, I didn’t get an iPhone or other iDevice. I got a good old-fashioned knucklebuster. Also, I made some little ornaments that can be hung from trees or windows or other hangy places. I’m working on making a stand for them.
What: Women’s Club of Newton Highlands Holiday Art Market
Where: Hyde Community Center, 90 Lincoln St, Newton Highlands, MA 02461
When: November 17, 2012 from 10 AM – 4 PM
In December I will be involved in another art market, this time in downtown Boston, as well as a month-long art show. Stay tuned for details!
For the past several months I’ve been focusing so much of my energy and time on bookbinding. Lately I’ve really wanted to incorporate more drawing into my life. After a day of deliberating and scouring my own books and the internet for inspiration, I began working on a large graphite drawing. Here is just a little sneak peek.
