Oil painting of a nocturnal seascape. The painting is primarily dark blue. The artist's feet are painted at the bottom of the canvas, as if we are in her position looking at the scene before her. The dark ocean stretches out in front of us and there is a reflection of an arm of a galaxy. The night sky features the galaxy arching overhead, painted in blue and fiery orange and yellow tones. Distant landmasses can be seen on the horizon.
