Since November of 2017 my dad has been going through a very difficult illness. I couldn’t help but relate my experience in dealing with his illness to the very long winter we were having in Minneapolis. During a blizzard in mid-April I took photos of snow and wrote most of the text that became this zine. It was a way to help me process a very tough time.
The Longest Winter, published in 2018, is 16 pages long and is hand-bound with linen thread.
