Bookbinding Policies


Because I live in Massachusetts, I am obligated to collect sales tax from other MA residents. You will be charged sales tax upon checkout, if your shipping address is in MA.


If you are ordering a made-to-order item, there is a 50% fee for rush orders. Shipping charges may increase as well. Please contact before purchasing if you need your order rushed.

Ready-to-ship items will be shipped in one to three days after payment has cleared.

Custom and made-to-order items will be shipped three to four weeks after payment has cleared.

Most orders are shipped via USPS. Insurance is included. Tracking information will be emailed to you once the package has been shipped.

Please make sure your shipping address is entered correctly. I am not responsible for orders shipped to the wrong location if the customer entered the wrong address. Items lost in the mail due to incorrectly entered addresses will not be refunded.

I re-use packaging materials whenever possible to cut down on waste, and I ask that you recycle or reuse my packaging materials if you can!


Shipping costs are automatically reduced when you buy more than one item.


If you would like expedited shipping please contact me before purchasing so I can adjust the price.


International orders will be declared at full value as merchandise. The buyer is responsible for paying any customs fees and taxes. Customers outside of the US, please be aware of the possibility of paying customs fees before making a purchase.

I take pride in my work and hope you are satisfied with your purchase. If you have an issue with a product you received from me, please get in touch right away and let me know what the problem is.

Refunds are not allowed on digital download items, custom or personalized orders, sale items, or supplies, with the exception of items damaged in shipping and items seriously misrepresented in my photos or product descriptions.

Items lost in the mail due to the customer incorrectly entering their shipping address will not be refunded.

There are no refunds on packages returned to me due to not being claimed by the customer. If this happens, the customer will be responsible for paying the additional shipping costs to ship the package again.

Items damaged by the customer may not be refunded or returned.

If you are unsatisfied with a purchase other than digital download items, custom or personalized orders, sale items, or supplies, please let me know within 10 days of receipt. You will receive credit to use in my shop once I have received the item back in its original condition. 

Shipping costs are not refunded and paying for return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.


My stamped “signature” is applied to each book and box I make. On books, it will be located on the inside back cover. On boxes and portfolio cases, it will usually be located on the back/bottom or interior of the case. For custom orders, I’d be happy to place my label elsewhere. Just let me know where you would prefer it to be.

By purchasing a custom or personalized item from my shop, you agree that your item may be featured on my website, blog, Facebook page, Twitter, or other online outlet. If you do not want your custom item featured, please let me know.
